October Field Trip - October 17, 2008

$5 per child or adult. Bring check or cash the day of the field trip.
Feel free to come have lunch at 12:30 or 1pm at the picnic tables(before the field trip)!
Prek-1st grade Seedlings/Outdoor nature
2-3rd grade Saplings/Outdoor nature
4+ grade Friends of Discovery ProgramPlease email me the child’s name and grade level
When: Friday, October 17th 1:30pm-3:30 (you can plan to have lunch there before the field trip)

Gifford Farm Education Center provides educational programs to area youth and the community, serving over 25,000 visitors annually. A working farm, this multifaceted education area has more than 400 acres of farmstead, pastures, crop land, woodlands and a small pond. Located along the Missouri River bottom just outside of Bellevue, NE, it is surrounded by 1,200 acres of woodlands known as Gifford Point, which has over 5 miles of river front.

What we are doing:
We will have 2 to 3 groups of kids going on a tour, depending on the number of kids participating.
Prek-K and 1st-3rd : Woods program (Seedlings and/or Saplings & outdoor nature classroom)
3rd or 4th and up: Friends of Discovery program
